    Veterans in Gulf County were honored on Tuesday during ceremonies taking place at Wewahitchka Elementary School, Port St. Joe Elementary School, Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School and Veterans Memorial Park at Beacon Hill.

    Cold-stunned sea turtle release

    Area sea turtles are becoming "cold-stunned" by falling water temperatures putting them into a hypothermic state. Rescued turtles were transported to Gulf World Marine Institute where they were warmed up and treated. More than 50 turtles were released at Cape Palms Park on Cape San Blas on Tuesday.
